Positioned to Succeed
You’ve rented 100 square feet of exhibit space, set up a beautiful display, and carefully arranged your products. But where do you put yourself?
Stand near the front. There’s already enough space between you and the aisle without adding more by standing at the back of your exhibit space. Stand in the front third of the space, close enough to the aisle that you can easily interact with anyone who passes by. Some experts advocate standing with one foot right up on the threshold of your space so you can help “guide” attendees into your booth. But don’t be too aggressive; no one wants to feel like they’re being attacked when they walk by your exhibit.
